Wiz Khalifa's "28 Grams" Mixtape: Inspired By Rihanna?

Wiz Khalifa says his new mixtape was inspired by Rihanna, and Ri Ri responds on Twitter. This week, Wiz Khalifa showed us all a new side of himself ("Trap Wiz") with his mixtape 28 Grams. Taking cues from Southern hip-hop, especially that of Atlanta, he gathered together a roster of trap producers like Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, Sonny Digital and members of 808 Mafia to flesh out his new persona. Though the music on 28 Grams bears little in common with Rihanna's, Wiz has now said that the singer was another major influence on his tape. Yesterday, he tweeted out a link to a "making of" 28 Grams video and added "Rihanna inspired this mixtape," and today, Rihanna responded positively. See their tweets below. We Dem Boyz ✔ @wizkhalifa Rhianna inspired this mixtape. http://datpiff.com/28grams http://youtu.be/19hPXVRkhdY Rihanna ✔ @rihanna Follow “@wizkhalifa: Rihanna inspired this mixtape. http://datpiff.com/28grams http://youtu.be/19hPXVRkhdY ” HE GETS IT!!! Too real, 1 love broski!! Clarifying his message a bit in the video, Wiz says that Rihanna, along with "everybody," encouraged him to pursue his trap side: "I'm gonna be using autotune beats and shit like that, like real trapped-out shit. I just came up with this character called 'Trap Wiz' who's like really really rude as fuck. I was just thinking I was gonna write these songs and give them to people as I did them, but I was playing them for people, and they was like, 'Yo, you need to put this on an album!.' I'm like, 'Nah, I can't do no album like this,' but like everybody from my niggas to fuckin' Rihanna is like, 'Yo, this the shit that we wanna hear.'" Watch the full video below.

Ab-Soul Talks "These Days..." And Competition Within TDE

Ab-Soul sits down with Life + Times to give the scoop on his upcoming album, "These Days..." and talk about the team dynamic of TDE. Ab-Soul began 2014 a little roughly with the frustrating delay of his forthcoming album These Days..., but after threatening to leak the project earlier this month, it seems like he's patched things up with his label. The album's now set to drop in June, and in preparation, Soulo sat down with Life + Times to discuss the new project and TDE's ongoing hot streak that's already seen 2014 releases from Isaiah Rashad, Schoolboy Q and SZA. First, Ab-Soul talked "Stigmata," the latest leak from These Days... that he calls "a cornerstone of the whole joint." Speaking on the song's origin and his interpolation of lyrics from Nas' "The Cross" on its chorus, Soulo said: "How the song came about, in all honesty, was that I wanted to do a song about stigma. I ended up looking up the word stigmata, thinking that it was an extension of the word stigma. After looking it up I realized that I had already been dancing around this Jesus concept within my lyrics. I had already had this concept strung in, so when I looked up the definition of stigmata, it just all made sense. It only made sense for me to title it 'Stigmata.' Also, I always like to reference my favorite shit, whether it’s new or old, in a manner where you know I did it and the 'The Cross' reference made perfect sense." Ab-Soul also name-drops Canibus, Jay Electronica and Jay Z as two of his favorites in the interview, saying that "They all had dignity and character. I just want to give that back." His reverence also extends to include Common, with whom he collaborated on the recent track "Made In Black America." ""Common literally texted me out of the blue. He sent this long text message showing his interest in the music. It was just so crazy. I didn’t even want to ask him where he got my number from [laughs]." Talk then moved to These Days..., which was originally rumored to be titled Black Lip Bastard. When that title is brought up, Soulo clarifies: "No, it was never going to be titled that. That’s just one of my many nicknames, but I realized that bastard is not a good name, so I changed it to pastor. There are kids out there watching me and listening to my music." The new album was mostly recorded at Mac Miller's house, and Soulo offered the following as a description of the project: "Balance. Variation. A spice of life. I want to try and touch as many bases as possible. I want something on there for everybody. There will be a lot of references to the vibe of today, the sound of today and the subject matter of today." On the subject of TDE and Black Hippy's recent successes, Ab-Soul said he's feeling no pressure from Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q or anyone else. "I’m from LA, where you got to be a cool nigga and you can’t walk around with too much fear in your heart. That’s just how I was brought up. I’ve walked this earth a long time without the media, so I don’t really see the media being an issue for me. I’m not signed to a major label. I’m signed to Top Dawg. It’s a Top Dawg party, so I’m rolling this project out in a similar fashion to how I rolled out my past projects." Stay tuned for These Days..., which could be released as early as next Tuesday.

Nicki Minaj Was Paid 50K To Attend Iyanna Mayweather's Birthday Party

Nicki Minaj was reportedly paid 50K to attend Iyanna Mayweather's birthday party. Nicki Minaj may be able to retire from music and live comfortably off her image. According to a new report by TMZ, Minaj was paid the sum of $50,000 by boxer Floyd Mayweather just to show her face at his daughter's 14th birthday party. For context, that's roughly the average amount a school teacher makes in the US for a full year of work. Minaj reportedly stayed at the party for one hour and took a few photos with Mayweather's daughter Iyanna before leaving. As you may recall, Iyanna's party was also the setting for the much-talked-about altercation between Mayweather and T.I., which was reportedly the product of an Instagram photo of Mayweather and Tip's wife Tiny. Last year, Iyanna's party was attended by Justin Bieber. Nicki Minaj is fresh off the release of her new single "Pills N Potions," the flagship release from her upcoming album The Pinkprint. The song debuted in the Top 50 of Billboard's Hot 100 chart for the week ending June 7th. If she keeps this kind of buzz up, Minaj will probably be invited back for Iyanna's sweet sixteen in 2016.

Troy Ave Responds to 50 Cent saying Lloyd Banks &Tony Yayo are "His Hype Men"

Troy Ave says 50 Cent's comments regarding Tony Yayo and Lloyd banks were "wack". 50 Cent has been trolling long before the days of the internet. Almost every interview with the outspoken rapper finds him making a few deliberate statements to get a rise out of someone, often another rapper. His recent comments concerning former G-Unit members Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo were no exception, with the rapper saying that they've come to a point where they've resorted to becoming newcomer Troy Ave's hype men, as they appeared in his video. In a new interview with the Breakfast Club, Troy Ave directly addressed the comments. “I think that was wack,” he said. “You know what I mean? But that’s they personal issues. I don’t be really having an opinion on other people’s personal issues. I think it was wack. That is kinda his opinion. That don’t make no sense. But I think it was wack. I wouldn’t have said that about my people. But I don’t know what they got going on. Lloyd Banks definitely in my new video. And I don’t feel like they was hype men. I feel like they was doing what you supposed to do.” The XXL Freshman also spoke on his own interactions with Fif, saying that the rapper showed him love when they met. “As far as relationship, I don’t really have a relationship with him [50 Cent],” he said. “You know, I seen him. He gave it up, ‘You doing your thing out here. I like how you sound, what you do.’ I guess I got his support some type of way. But, I mean, you know how that go. What one man say or do don’t hinder on my success. I’m still doing my thing regardless. Watch the full interview below.

Ty Dolla Sign covers Fader Magazine

Ty Dolla $ign lands the June/July cover of The Fader. Ty Dolla $ign's reign of r'n'b cross-over hip-hop music has just begun. In anticipation of this, the West Coast native graces the cover of The Fader's new June/July "Summer Music" issue. Inside the issue of The Fader, Ty Dolla $ign talks about his lyrics and gangbanging, among other things. Two excerpts are featured below, and check the gallery above for Ty's cover shot as well as photos from the inside spread. On his lyrics: “I’m not tryna promote being the best f-cking American man,” says Ty. “I’m promoting partying and having fun and being that type of American. I don’t wanna hurt nobody’s feelings. I’m not gonna front and act like your boyfriend. I’m out here, you know what I’m saying? I’m about to go on tour! It’s like running for the presidency... except without a wife. On his crew, and falling in with the West Side Rollin 20s Bloods: “We’re not promoting gangbanging here,” he says, explaining that he was always more focused on music than the life. “Luckily, I got the homies that I got and kept me from doing some stupid shit, and I ended up here, not dead or in jail. That’s what they tell you about gangbangers, one of two things: dead or in jail. I just try to promote positivity. It’s not really worth it.”

Jimmy Iovine Leaves Interscope Records

John Janick to succeed Jimmy Iovine as Chairman, CEO of Interscope Records. Right as Apple confirmed the official purchase of Beats By Dre on Wednesday, Interscope's Jimmy Iovine announced that he would be stepping down from the label. Iovine has served as Chairman and CEO of Interscope for the past 25 years, and will leave his duties behind to 36 year old John Janick (see pic in gallery). According to Billboard, this comes as no real shock as reports state that even before Jimmy was leaving for Apple, Janick was already completely running the label. Jimmy came out on Wednesday and had the following statement to say about his departure and successor: “John Janick has exactly what it takes to lead Interscope Geffen A&M: he started his own label, he understands the art of making records and the unique dynamic between a record label and artist, as well as the enormous responsibility that comes with representing one of the greatest artist rosters ever assembled." – Jimmy Iovine Of course, it was only matter time before Janick responded with a statement himself, which read: “To have been able to work alongside Jimmy Iovine and contribute to the current success of Interscope Geffen A&M--three of the most storied brands in music—has been an extraordinary privilege. Now to be appointed Jimmy’s successor and be in a position to carry on his tradition of creative excellence and innovation is a truly humbling honor." Jimmy will join Apple once their acquisition of Beats By Dre officially closes later this summer.

Mariah Carey's "Me. I Am Mariah…" First Week Sales Projections

Mariah Carey is among the best-selling artists of all-time, but her newest album will not likely push her any further up the list. The album, which sports a mouthful of a title, Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse, arrived rather quietly this week, and the sales projections for the effort reflect such. MIAMTEC is set to move around 60-65,000 units its first week, a decent pull for most artists, but an underwhelming number compared to the diva's already accumulated 175-200 million in sales. Mimi will probably not be taking the top spot this week, but she will round out the top 3.

Iggy Azalea Has No. 1 & 2 Spot On Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Iggy Azalea currently has two songs topping the Billboard Hot 100. Last week we heard that Iggy Azalea's lead single "Fancy" went platinum, and now more good news has come pouring in for the Australian bombshell. Not only is "Fancy" platinum-selling, it has also topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart, which rose from 2-1 this past week. In addition to "Fancy" being at #1, Iggy is featured on Ariana Grande's "Problem" single, which itself rose 2-3 this week-- meaning Iggy occupies the top two slots on the Hot 100. As Billboard points out, this is a feat that hasn't been accomplished since The Beatles. "Azalea joins the Beatles as the only acts to rank at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 hits," Billboard says. Iggy shared some words on the achievement via Twitter. Read what she had to say below. "Well I'm very pleased, last year seemed impossible to convince anyone in the music business I could break into the top 100. Haha.So let this serve as proof anything is possible & I hope we see more female rappers new and established in the charts. Dope stuff, thanks!"

Lil Durk announces Release date for "Signed To The Streets 2"

Lil Durk has announced the release date for "Signed To The Streets 2". Lil Durk definitely upped his profile with 2013's Signed To The Streets, and fresh off of making the XXL Freshmen cover, the rapper is ready to do it all over again with Signed To The Streets 2. Durk announced the release date for the tape earlier today on Instagram, revealing that we'd see the new project as early as June 18th. The OTF rapper hit us with the first single from the project, the Young Thug-assisted "Party", back in May, so you can surely expect big things from the tape. Durk's Def Jam debut is still scheduled to drop soon, with the rapper hinting that the Chris Brown-featuring first single is on its way.

50 Cent Calls Diddy A "Sucker"

50 Cent shares some thoughts on Diddy, his Interscope departure, his relationship with his son and more. 50 Cent, always the outspoken rapper, shared his thoughts on Diddy in a recent interview with GQ, which he managed to sum up neatly into one very short sentence. Fif said of Puff Daddy: "He’s a sucker." There was no further elaboration of what the rapper meant by his comment, in fact, according to the GQ interviewer, the comment came rather out of the blue. Through out the interview with GQ, 50 Cent also spoke on his departure from Interscope, sharing some insight on why he left. "When people couldn't care less about you actually being successful," he told the magazine, "you can feel it." He also shed some light on his relationship with his son, which he says is no more. "Me and my son, we don’t have a relationship anymore," the rapper revealed, laying the blame on his baby mama. "It’s based on his mom. He’s adopted her way of thinking. I don’t have anything negative around the concept of kids." Finally, Fif touches on another topic that's been circulating lately: his former G-Unit pals Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck. He compares their situation to that of a plant: "If you spent ten years watering it, it'd fucking grow." And if it didn't? "Doesn't that tell you you need to get new seeds? Fuck this. New seeds—let's do something different now." He added, "I enabled these guys." Head over to GQ for the full write-up.

Gucci Mane Announces "World War 3D" Series Featuring Migos, Young Thug & Peewee Longway

Gucci Mane has announced a new series of albums which will feature contributions from Migos, Young Thug, and Peewee Longway. Last summer, Gucci Mane hit us with a trilogy of albums in one day, dropping the World War 3 series, based on three of his greatest vices; Gas, Molly, and Lean. Ironically, the drank-inspired project was easily the strongest of the series, showcasing the new wave of his carefully built Brick Squad crew, the potential of which only becoming clear to most after Wop's most recent arrest. After releasing the Brick Factory Vol. 1 mixtape earlier this week, Gucci has announced another round of WW3 releases, which much like Lean, put an emphasis on the Brick Squad family. The new trilogy, titled World War 3D, will feature releases from Migos, Young Thug, and Peewee Longway. With the projects titled The Green Album, The Purple Album, and The White Album respectively. It seems as though the albums will likely consist of older material the artists previously recorded for Brick Squad. As we know, Gucci still has partial ownership of Young Thug's material (though as far as we know, Migos have never been part of the imprint, which leaves some questions unanswered). Check out Gucci's tweets, which reveal the release date and acronym for each project below. Gucci Mane ✔ @gucci1017 Follow WORLD WAR 3D.. First Installment... MIGOS.... "The Green Album"... Jay Z Forced To Participate In Deposition For Rocafella Logo Lawsuit [Update: Jay Delays Due To Tour]

[Update: Jay Delays Due To Tour] While Jay Z will have to sit for a deposition at some point, it looks like he's going to put it off for as long as possible. Jay is scheduled to sit down for questioning over the $7 Million dollar Roc-A-Fella logo suit next month, but according to his representatives, the man is just too busy. Hov's attorney's describe him as "one of the most prolific and hardest-working businessmen and recording artists in the world," arguing that the rapper will not be able to make his deposition any time soon, especially with his summer tour with Beyonce on the way. "Preparing a stadium tour is a non-stop effort," reads the document. We'll have to wait and see if Jay can maneuver his way out of this on for a while longer. Updates to come as information arrives.

French Montana, Lil Wayne & Rick Ross To Collaborate On Kanye West-Produced "Lose It"

French Montana, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross trio to collaborate for the third time on "Lose It," produced by Kanye West & The Mekanics. Justin Bieber Donates $545K To AIDS Research

Finally Justin Bieber’s in the media for being a good samaritan. The tatted up singer doesn’t just only have amazing vocals but he also has a huge heart. The Journal’s artist recently attended the amfAR gala and donated $545k for AIDS research. According to TMZ, wealthy attendees began pledging gaudy amounts of money and when one guest decided to set the donation bar at a half of million, Biebs matched it. His very generous gesture stunned the celebrity-filled room—Leonardo DiCaprio, Heidi Klum, John Travolta—and when he was double checked on his offer, he confirmed his donation price. He may have had a bad streak but he has a big heart. (via VIBE Vixen)

Lil Bibby Announces "Free Crack 2" Mixtape, Reveals Artwork

Lil Bibby has announced a follow up to his "Free Crack" mixtape, as well as sharing the cover art for the effort. Lil Bibby gained a lot of regional hype through his collaborations with Lil Herb in 2013, but he capped the year with his most popular release yet, solo effort Free Crack. Since then he's managed to land himself on 2014's XXL Freshmen cover, pushing him even further into the public eye. The rapper was scheduled to release an EP called The Book before the year's end, and whether or not that's still on the docket, he'll be releasing a follow-up to his debut mixtape, aptly titled, Free Crack 2. No word on a release date for the DJ Drama-hosted affair, but the Chi-town rapper has shared the fairly literal artwork today. Bibby recently talked to us about his upcoming project, which he revealed may feature guest verses from Kevin Gates and Young Thug. We'll just have to wait and see which comes first, the EP or the mixtape.

Lil Wayne Blasts Justin Bieber's Manager, Defends Lil Twist

"Anything you got to say, when you see me say it to my motherfuckin' face," Lil Wayne says to Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun. With a handful of Justin Bieber’s negative headlines attributed to Young Money artist Lil Twist in recent months, Lil Wayne directed a nearly minute-long rant at the R&B singer’s manager Scooter Braun for falsely blaming Twist. Last year, Twist was blamed for a marijuana filled party at Bieber’s California home as well as driving the singer’s Ferrari at illegal speeds in a separate incident. In yet another headline-making piece of news, Twist was apparently at fault for driving Bieber’s Fisker sports car into a pole near a liquor store last March. Exiting a private jet, Lil Wayne defended Twist and blasted Scooter Braun in a video posted by DJ Scoob Doo earlier today (May 26). While Wayne has some choice words for Braun, he seems to leave Bieber out of it, going so far as to refer to the singer as his “little brother.” “This my nigga Lil Twist right here,” Wayne says in the video. “I heard that they got a bitch-ass nigga named Scooter that be running with my little brother Justin Bieber...That’s my little brother Justin Bieber. I heard this bitch-ass nigga Scooter talking shit about my little brother. “Nigga this my motherfuckin’ brother,” Wayne adds, pointing to Lil Twist. “Anything you got to say, when you see me say it to my motherfuckin’ face. And if you do happen to say it to my motherfuckin’ face, I ain’t gonna make you eat them words nigga, I’ma put them bitches on your tombstone.” At the end of the video, Wayne says he and Twist have just returned from France with Bieber himself. “We just came from France with my little brother Justin Bieber,” he says. “Fuck you Scooter!” Earlier this month, Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber escorted Floyd Mayweather to the ring leading up to his match against Argentine fighter Marcos Maidana. Lil Wayne used the fight-night as the occasion for the live debut of his new Carter V single “Believe Me.”

Solange Reportedly Writing Tell-All Book On Jay Z, Beyonce's Relationship

An alleged tell-all book from Solange Knowles to include details about Jay Z, Beyonce, and her father, Matthew Knowles. Following Solange Knowles’ now infamous attack on her brother-in-law Jay Z in a hotel elevator, it’s now been reported that the singer will write a tell-all book about her family. According to a news report from Buzz 60, the alleged book could detail “shocking secrets” about Solange’s family, specifically the relationship between Jay Z and Beyoncé and the relationship between Solange, Beyoncé, and their estranged father Matthew Knowles. Solange has yet to reply publicly to reports of a tell-all book about her family. Additionally, the only response the public has received from Solange following her attack on Jay Z came in the form of a joint statement from herself, Jay Z, and Beyoncé. A portion of the statement read: "As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.” The Houston, Texas songstress, who is usually active on social media, has not sent any tweets since May 12, the day video footage of her encounter with Jay Z leaked online.

Father Shaheed, DJ For Poor Righteous Teachers, Passes Away

The hip-hop family has lost another one of it’s pioneers. Father Shaheed, the DJ for the Trenton N.J. rap group Poor Righteous Teachers, passed away from a motorcycle accident. Waka Flocka Reported To Have Eloped With Tammy Rivera

Waka Flocka Flame and fiancee Tammy Rivera apparently tied the knot two weeks ago. Waka Flocka Flame has been engaged to fellow Love & Hip Hop Hip Atlanta star Tammy Rivera for a minute, but as far as we knew, a wedding wasn't planned anywhere in the near future. Turns out, the Waka and Tammy wed in secret about two weeks back, according to the rapper's mother and founder of MIzay entertainment, Deb Antney. As Antney tells it, she was also left out of the loop. “I was selfish. I wanted to be a part of it,” she said. “They got a marriage license about two weeks ago without me knowing it.” Regardless of her lack of involvement, Deb was very happy for the new husband and wife. “[He] kept his word,” she said. “He said that he was going to marry her and he did it on his terms. It was very cute to me.” There is still a service and party in the works, Waka's mom attests, adding, “I’m happy. He’s very responsible.” Congrats to Waka and Tammy! SQUAAAD

Portion Of Kanye West's Wedding Speech Surfaces, Calls Kim The "Ideal Celebrity"

Kanye West says that the Kardashians "are an industry" in his alleged wedding speech. Unless you live an extremely sheltered life, you've likely heard that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are officially a married couple. Their wedding nuptials went down this past weekend in Florence, Italy and were undoubtedly lavish and extravagant. We were able to get a peek inside the wedding over the weekend, on top of some pre-wedding photos, and now some of Kanye's wedding speech has reportedly surfaced. In typical Yeezy fashion, the speech was a tad bit egotistical, with Kanye offering plenty of praise for his new wifey and her family. The media and tabloids were referenced as well (because Kanye). "They feel like it’s okay to put you on the tabloid covers to sell your image, to use you in an SNL spoof," Ye reportedly told the guests in attendance. “We don’t negotiate. We’re not like that. We’re not stupid." He added later, “The Kardashians are an industry!" His speech continued, "We are warriors! There is not one person at this table that has not had to defend us at some point or another." Referencing a specific table of guests at the wedding, Kanye continued, "At this table…the combination of powers…can make the world a better place." He said that they were "the most remarkable people of our time." The rapper also called Kim Kardashian the "ideal celebrity…the ideal art," and he looks forward to "spending every single day of [his] life with Kim."

T.I Posts Proof Video That He Doesn’t Have 2 Black Eyes & Tiny Addresses His Cheating

Floyd Mayweather gave his version of the events that led to his altercation with T.I, admitting it was over Tiny. Well now the couple is speaking out, but not together. Tiny took to her Instagram account to thank her fans for riding with her and she also responded to a couple of comments criticizing her involvement with Floyd. While responding she threw out how many women T.I is seen with in the media and notes that people should be asking why she puts up with him not the other way around.

Rick Ross Just Got A Pretty Crazy Face Tattoo

Rick Ross now has "Rich Forever" inked on his chin. While face tats are fairly normal practice in the rap game, some definitely grab a little more attention than others. Of course, Gucci Mane's infamous ice cream cone-- which was emblazoned on his cheek --rings a bell, and now Rick Ross has just got himself a slightly less alarming, but certainly very eye-catching new ink. A new photo on Nikko Hurtado's Instagram account shows us ross's new tattoo, which happens to be the words "Rich Forever" written on his chin (square in the middle of his iconic beard, of course). Hurtado's caption reads: Just tattooed @richforever the man him self! "Rich Forever" under his lip. Single needle action #MMGthanks for the hospitality bro. Honored to tattoo your face. Rich Forever is the name of the rapper's 2012 mixtape, and a phrase he has used as something of a mantra since the project's release.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Speaks on Fight with T.I.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. just gave an exclusive interview to the blog Necole Bitchie in which he explains the origins of the brawl we all just witnessed. It all started with a picture Tiny posted on Instagram of her and Mayweather after his May 4th fight, after which T.I. approached Mayweather in New York: "[T.I] came to me when I was in New York. He stepped to me when I was at the jewelery store like, 'Yo, let’s go outside and talk.' We went outside to talk, but he talked about, basically, 'These girls tryna play us against each other.' I said, 'I don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re talking about your wife?' I never put up a picture of her on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I was basically like, 'Listen. I’m letting you know I ain’t got…me and your wife don’t have nothing…if you think so.'" Things escalated to a more heated level last night after Mayweather's daughter's birthday party in Las Vegas: "I throw my daughter [Iyanna] a big [14th] birthday bash today. I’m eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, he walk in talking about we need to talk again. And then I told him, 'You need to get the f-ck outta my face. That’s what you better do.' And then he said, 'I ain’t talking to all these people so you ain’t gotta talk loud.' I said, 'Listen, don’t come to my face with no disrespectful sh-t. Like I told you before, you must’ve forgot what I did for a living.' He said, 'You do in the ring, I do it in the streets.' I said, 'My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.' Just like that. Then a couple of words exchange and people got to pushing and a riot kinda broke out. And then a bunch of chaos and that was basically it. Because, like I said before, he probably does some foolish things, but he ain’t no damn fool to swing on me. Like, you must’ve forgot what I do for a living. He had a totally different look on his face." After apologizing to Tiny for the "Control your bitch" line, Mayweather said that in the future, T.I. should "talk to her about that, don’t talk to me about that." Read the full interview here.

Wiz Khalifa Arrested For Marijuana Possession In Texas

Wiz Khalifa was arrested in El Paso for possession of marijuana; he says we won't get "28 Grams" until he's released. When Wiz Khalifa leaked "The Rain" from his upcoming mixtape 28 Grams on Friday night, we thought the full tape was going to follow shortly, but no such luck. It seems Khalifa has delayed the tape due to a spot of bother with the law. Last night, while en route to El Paso, Texas' Neon Desert Music Festival, the Taylor Gang rapper was arrested for possession of marijuana. Check out his tweets on his recent arrest below. T.I. Incites Fight With Floyd Mayweather Jr. In Las Vegas

TMZ reports that T.I. approached Floyd Mayweather Jr. at a Fatburger in Las Vegas and took a swing at him. On the list of people you should pick fights with, boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. is certainly near the bottom, if not off the charts. Apparently that didn't stop T.I. from picking a fight with him early this morning, as the two set off a brawl that involved throwing chairs in a Fatburger on the Las Vegas Strip. According to TMZ, Mayweather was eating at the restaurant when T.I. approached him and began "jawing" at him. One thing led to another, with T.I. throwing a punch, bodyguards jumping in to intervene and an all-out brawl being started. Police arrived just as Maywether was leaving, and after T.I. had already left, but found another man injured with a "slash" wound from the incident. The video shared by TMZ (below) is low-quality and details are difficult to make out, but DDotOmen reports that the fight may have had something to do with Tiny, T.I.'s wife. Check out a picture of her hanging with Mayweather in the gallery above.

Kanye West Marries Kim Kardashian In Florence, Italy

It’s official: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are married. Kanye’s rep has confirmed to US Weekly that the couple tied the knot on Saturday afternoon during a wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy, stating “Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married in a private ceremony in the presence of family and friends in Florence, Italy, today.” The ceremony was performed by Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami at the Fort di Belvedere in Florence. Some of the guests apart from the family included Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, LaLa Anthony, Lorraine Schwartz, Q-Tip, Common, Big Sean, Tyga and more. This is Kim’s third marriage and the rapper’s first. An onlooker told People: “It was funny how nervous he was. He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It’s common for most grooms. I’ve seen it all before.” We wish the couple a happy married life!

Drake Has Laid Down Two Tracks For Nicki Minaj's "Pink Print"

Nicki Minaj reveals that Drake has turned in two tracks for her new album, The Pink Print", but it's still unclear whether they'll appear on the final version of the album. A common question Nicki Minaj has faced about her upcoming studio album is whether or not Drake will make an appearance. Nicki was mysteriously absent from Nothing Was The Same (though a rift between the two was mentioned on the opening track, a classic Drake move), so fans are dying to know whether the two will reunite on Minaj's Pink Print. The "Yasss Bish!!" rapper has generally dodged the topic up until this point, but was a little more up front about it in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest. “You know what? So far he’s sent me two joints already for the album,” she revealed, but stressed this does not mean he'll officially make the cut. “We’re still discussing them and still making some changes, but I don’t have an official Drake song yet. So, I can’t say that Drake will be on my album because I never want to just say stuff until it’s official. You know what I mean?” She then spoke of her new ballad, and lead single from the album, "Pills N Potions", which was released earlier this week. “I feel like it’s kind of like a tragic love story,” she said. “And it doesn’t even necessarily have to be like a boy and girl relationship. I just kinda feel like while I was working on the album I started realizing how much I’ve changed. How people change. And how people come in and out of your life and I just felt like talking about that. I had never really discussed that…I love that it has the [last] feeling of no matter what I still love. There’s still love there. And that’s pretty much what the song means to me. I think so many people can relate to that.” Listen to the full interview below.

Ne-Yo Announces New Album Title "Non Fiction" & First Single

Ne-Yo will be linking up with Jeezy again for his first single "Money Can't Buy", off his upcoming "Non Fiction" album. The last time we heard from Ne-Yo was on Valentines Day when he released his 3-song EP 3 Simple Rules. Ever since then, the R&B crooner has flown quietly under the radar and been busy working on his 6th studio album titled Non Fiction. On Friday, the artwork for his first single, “Money Can’t Buy”, was released, and it will feature Def Jam labelmate Jeezy, and be dropping this Tuesday, May 27th. In recent interviews, Ne-Yo has spoken on the album and claimed that he would be returning to a more traditional R&B sound, similar to his first two albums. “It’ll be out probably towards the summertime, predominately R&B this time,” he previously told Billboard. “I had a little stint with the dance music and all of that, which I had a good time with– and I love the audience, I love them for accepting me doing it –but I had to go home on this one. Had to take it back to my roots, and not to say that there won’t be one, maybe two songs on there that the dance crowd can get into, but the majority, the girth of the album, will be R&B.” Non Fiction serves as the follow-up to 2012′s R.E.D., and will feature collaborations from T.I. and Trey Songz. It is expected to drop later this year, rumors are saying September 30th. The last time these two linked up was for Jeezy’s “Leave You Alone” record, which we know was a huge smash hit. I got a feeling Tuesday’s release will follow in suit. Check back on Tuesday for the official single, and peep the artwork in the gallery above. Future Says Pharrell Was Hesitant To Appear On "Move That Dope"

In a new interview, Future reveals that Pharrell initially thought his verse on "Move That Dope" would result in "backlash" from fans of his poppier material. Although he once rapped alongside coke-rap titans Clipse on a number of their tracks, Pharrell's show-stopping appearance on Future's drug-slinging anthem "Move That Dope" was a little shocking, to say the least. Nowadays, the rapper/producer/singer is best known for his omnipresence on pop radio, whether it's via "Get Lucky," "Blurred Lines" or, most recently, his own "Happy," taken from the soundtrack of a children's film. In a new interview with Billboard, Future explains how Pharrell was (fittingly) worried about the "backlash" he might receive from the fans he's gained from his more pop-focused material: "It was a difficult situation for him," Future said. "He was going to the Oscars, and whatever he was in was a different music space, and to get him to do a verse on a song with that subject matter was difficult. He was like, 'Man, I don't know if I should do this, 'cause I don't want, like, a big backlash on me. I love this song, but I don't want a backlash.' I was like, 'Man, no, it's a positive message. The verse is telling people to let everything go. You have a message that's positive throughout your verse. I think people need to hear that, 'cause your voice is such a big voice in hip-hop.' And he was down with it in the end." Props to Pharrell (and his "Gandalf hat") for making the call to appear on the song. His lightning-quick verse is arguably the best on "Move That Dope," and it doesn't look like he's gotten much hate for it so far. Do you think he made the right call?

Photos: Kanye West & Kim Kardashian In France Pre-Wedding

Take a look at photos of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, family and friends as they celebrate pre-wedding. The marriage of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian has become weekly world wide news fodder, so this weekend you can expect a surplus of coverage, because the event is finally going down. After plenty of speculation and rumors over the past few months, things are taking place in Paris, France, with Kanye and Kim's closest friends and family. Today a rumored guestlist circulated which included the likes John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Serena Williams, fashion designer Rachel Roy, Q-Tip, Tyga and Blac Chyna, Andre Leon Talley among others. Last night Kimmy and friends went out in Paris for her bachelorette party, and today the Kardashian clan, including North West, had a pre-wedding brunch hosted by none other than Valentino at his Chateau de Wideville. At this time, the family is arriving at Versailles where they plan to do a wedding rehearsal. There seems to be some confusion as to where exactly the wedding will take place (undoubtedly purposeful), as there appears to be a wedding for the couple being set up in both Versailles and Florence. We've gathered photos of all the pre-wedding happenings, which you can take a look at in the gallery above. Stay tuned as there are bound to be more photos and updates as the weekend progresses.
