Reek Da Villain Leaves Busta Rhymes' Imprint To Sign With Birdman

Reek Da Villain explains that he's left Busta Rhymes' Conglomerate Imprint, and joined Rich Gang. Reek Da Villain's video for "Go Off" seemed like it could be a big break for Reek Da Villain, until it magically vanished off the internet. It turns out, that particular track (which featured guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Ace Hood, and Swizz Beatz) was somewhat of the tipping point for Busta Rhymes and Reek Da Villain's fall out. In a new interview Reek explains that Busta pushed to get the video taken down from WorldStarHipHop shortly after its release, while he felt that it should have been left as it was. "Once it got leaked out there, I was like fuck it, it's out.. let it go", he said of his feelings on the song's premature release, but Busta successfully got the visual taken down in the end. At this point Reek decided to distance himself from Busta Rhymes' Conglomerate imprint, and it turns out he's inked a deal with Birdman's Rich Gang. This comes only a day or so after Busta Rhymes left Cash Money Records, a label also helmed by Birdman, which makes the situation even more complicated. However, Reek is confident that there's no hard feelings between the two about the new signing. Watch Reek's interview below.
