Wiz Khalifa says he would like to "Break the Stigma" of his stoner image

new interview, Wiz Khalifa opens up about is "stoner" image, saying he'd like to "break the stigma" that surrounds it. When you hear the term "stoner rap," Wiz Khalifa's certainly one of the first artists who springs to mind, and the vice versa of that is true too -- one of the defining characteristics of Wiz's music has always been his affinity for marijuana. But now, years into a career jump-started by the 2010 mixtape Kush & Orange Juice, Young Khalifa seems like he's ready to be defined by other aspects of his music. In a new interview, the Pittsburgh native opens up about what it's like to be constantly referred to as a "weed head," and says he'd like to get to the point where he could make movies without dragging that image along with him. The full quote is below: "I was just talking with one of my homies yesterday, I kind of want to break the stigma of everything I do is like a 'stoner this' or a 'weed head' that, which is cool, that's what I built my marketing and my brand, but at the end of the day, everyone who is successful in film or in music gets high and they don't look at them as the stoner. Once I get past that point I think I'll make more movies so to people it doesn't look forced or look like I'm trying to change lanes or change gears. It'll just be people ready for me to do that anyway." Doesn't sound like he's quitting smoking or anything, but don't be surprised if the weed talk takes a backseat in any new music from Khalifa.

French Montana reveals tentative release date for "Mac & Cheese" 4

In an interview on Sway In The Morning, French Montana reveals that his label has picked December 16th as a tentative release date for "Mac & Cheese 4." Since French Montana began dating a Kardashian earlier this year, he's been in the news so much for his personal life (the relationship, subsequent breakup, and then a divorce on top of all of that) that it's easy to forget that he's been hard at work prepping his next album. During a recent visit to Sway In The Morning, French cut through an interview dominated by Kardashian questions to give us a small, tentative tidbit of hope for Mac & Cheese 4. According to French, the album will most likely drop on December 16th (just a day after Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint). Adding that the album's finished, save for sample clearance, Montana also cleared up that the date was set by his label.

Juvenile Signs With Cash Money Again

Juvenile takes his talents back to Cash Money with Birdman. Juvenile has returned to the label he once called home. The veteran Lousiana, New Orleans rapper first signed to Cash Money back in 1997, when he released his second album Solja Rags. His history with Cash Money gets a bit confusing, but after releasing Juve The Great in 2003 he left the label. He eventually signed to Atlantic in 2005. Juvie's last album, The Fundamentals, was released via Rap-A-Lot Records, but now Juvenile tells MTV News that he's returned, yet again, to Birdman's roster. He doesn't plan on leaving either. "I’m not going nowhere. I plan on retiring here," he told MTV News, after revealing he inked a contract with Cash Money a few days back. Birdman also spoke on the former Hot Boys' return, saying, "I just feel like the time is right. We had him in the studio, and I feel like he has the right records. We got him with young London [On Da Track], who probably one of the best producers in the game right now. I know with the platform I have, he can be bigger than he was before." London On Da Track is reportedly producing Juvenile's entire next album. Is this a good move for the rapper?

Birdman Addresses Tyga's Issues With Drake

Cash Money's head honcho talks on the drama within his camp. There's been a lot of shifting going on at YMCMB lately. On top of Wayne & Nicki both having their release dates pushed back, and Jay Sean leaving the label, some internal drama has also begun to work its way through the ranks. The conflict started early last week when Tyga said that Drake feels "fake" to him. Drake addressed the conflict passively by "liking" photos of Tyga's ex, Blac Chyna, on Instagram. Finally, Birdman has let his thoughts on the issue be known. Joined by his Rich Gang compatriots Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, Baby stopped by HOT 97’s "Funk Flex Show" on Monday night to discuss the trio's new music. Flex, however, wasted no time addressing the elephant in the room. Birdman met the host's inquisitions head on, stating that he didn't know there were problems previously, referring to Tyga as his "little bro," and confirming that the "Rack City" emcee is still on the label--at least for the time being. "I’m family orientated," said Birdman. "Either you’re in or you’re out. If you’re out, you’re an outcast.” Check out the full interview below.

Lil Wayne's "The Carter V" Pushed Back

Young Money president says they're looking for a new release date for Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V." Although most of us were expecting this, the time has come to formally announce that Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V will not be dropping on October 28th as originally expected. There have been mixed signals concerning whether or not a pushback would actually occur, as we reported, Weezy is reportedly hosting a pre-album release party in New Orleans, but on the other hand, we've yet to receive any official tracklisting (despite a few circulating on the internet), and there has been no iTunes pre-order for the LP. Today, Karen Civil gets confirmation from the Young Money president that they are looking for a new release date for Tha Carter V. That's all the information we have at the moment concerning the album delay, but we'll keep you posted when any new information surfaces. Here's all we know about Tha Carter V so far. In the meantime, Nicki Minaj has announced a new single "Only" to feature Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown.

Nicki Minaj Announces "Only" Single With Lil Wayne,Drake & Chris Brown

Nicki Minaj recruits Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown for her new single, "Only" which drops Tuesday. After "Pills & Potions" failed to make a serious impact on the charts, Nicki dialed things up with "Anaconda", which became her highest charting single to date, peaking at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rapper seems to poised to outdo that with the announcement of her upcoming Pinkprint release, "Only" which will hit iTunes Tuesday, and boasts a stacked cast of features, to say the least. Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown -- all of whom appeared on Nicki's underrated sophomore effort Roman Reloaded -- will be on the song, which also earned some amazing artwork (Drake as the pope!?) that can be viewed in the gallery above. The Pinkprint hits stores November 24th. Look out for the single Tuesday, October 29th, and surely a memorable video to follow.

Footage Of Drake Pushing Through Security, Dropping Cash At DC Club Surfaces

Drake rushed back into a club in DC club last night, pushing passed security and dropping plenty of cash in the process. Drake's birthday celebrations did not end with his Shmoney Dance in New York, or his 3 song release last night. Drizzy decided to hit a DC club after dropping some new music, but the night may not have ended all that well. New footage posted to Instagram shows Drake leaving the club, before rushing back in with a purpose, pushing passed security and dropping what seems to be thousands of dollars in his attempt to re-enter the venue. It's not clear exactly why the rapper was so keen on getting back in, but sources report that it may have something to do with a member of his crew being attacked inside the club, in which case, we understand the need to drop those racks. We'll update if any more information arrives. You can view the footage below.

In an interview with Rap-Up, T.I. stressed that while he could not confirm whether or not there are in talks a signing, he was confident that Troy is very much a part of the crew. “Never mind the paperwork, I can’t really speak for the deals or the solidification of a professional relationship, but personally he’s definitely Hustle Gang. That’s something that I feel comfortable saying," said Tip, letting no information go while still alluding to the fact that signing Troy is still a strong possibility. "He’s a solid cat," Tip said of the rapper who recently appeared alongside him on the Hustle Gang "Try Me" remix. "He has something that New York has been missing for quite some time and he’s not afraid to be a New Yorker. I salute him for that early on.”

Drake Celebrates his Birthday by doing shmoney dance at Dave &Busters in NYC

Drake's 28th birthday was celebrated at New York's Dave & Busters, Smhoney Dancing and all. Drake had a big week. Not only did he get into a minor tiff with fellow Young Money signee Tyga, he also celebrated his 28th birthday, which -- like all things -- he did in the most Drake way possible. Renting out Dave & Busters in NYC for the night, Drizzy and his crew took over the restaurant/arcade with their own DJs, letting the winners of the rappper's "Hood Grammys" ring through the venue. A few videos have surfaced from the celebration, the most memorable being Drake hitting the Shmoney Dance once again, which is sure to get synced up to plenty of hilarious soundtracks in the coming days.

Maino Arrested for Allegedly Punching a Porn Star Outside A Nightclub

Maino was arrested for puching porn star Mellanie Monroe on Thursday, after the "King of Brooklyn" turned himself in to the cops. The rapper reportedly arrived at the 6th Precinct at 9:30 AM, and was arrested for a misdemeanor assault, Page Six reports. As we reported earlier in the week, Monroe and Maino got into a tussle outside of the Griffin at around 3 AM. Apparently Monroe was in Maino's truck when the rapper punched her in the stomach and kicked her in the legs. After she exited his vehicle with help from policemen, the fight continued down the street when she spotted his car again and threw a hairbrush at it. Apparently Maino's bodyguard was outside the vehicle holding a bottle of Champagne, and Monroe began to fight with him, and in the midst of it, fell to the ground hitting her head.

Tyga Says He Doesn't "Get Along With" Drake & Nicki Minaj, Is "Trying To Go Independent"

Tyga elaborates on his frustration with Young Money and says he doesn't have good relationships with Drake and Nicki Minaj. Since Tyga went on a tweeting spree about his dissatisfaction with Young Money a few weeks ago, we haven't heard any updates about his label (or for that matter, album) status, but a new interview with VIBE may offer some clues. Appearing on the cover of the publications first digital-only issue, Tyga gives a more in-depth look at his struggle inside Young Money. The interview begins addressing the topic when Tyga's asked if Young Money is part of the creative process on The Gold Album, to which he responds: "Nah. I tend to distance myself from them." He adds, "I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki," and then elaborates: "I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is. But I been friends with Chris [Brown] for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang. I think being signed to Young Money, everybody felt like they had to force a relationship ‘cause Wayne put us together. At the end of the day the reason why I signed to Young Money is because of Wayne. Not because of Drake, not because of Nicki. It was because of Wayne and my relationship with him. I try to be cool with everybody, but sometimes, everybody just has different personalities, motives, and different characters. When you realize that, you realize that’s not a place where you want to continue to grow." Pretty shocking, eh?

Porn Star Accuses Maino Of Punching Her Outside Of A Club

Maino's been accused of punching porn star Mellanie Monroe outside of an NYC club. Just about this time last year, Maino was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The NYC artist seems to have tapped October as a month when "anything goes," as a porn star just accused him of punching her inside of an SUV parked outside of NYC nightclub The Griffin. Page Six reports that Mellanie Monroe (who, they note, you may remember for her roles in films such as “Interracial MILF Orgy 3") says she and the Bed-Stuy rapper were in the car when he began punching her, and that Maino subsequently fled the scene. She says she suffered leg pain after the altercation. Maino has yet to be charged or taken into custody.

Kendrick Lamar's "i" To Serve As The Theme Song For 2014-2015 NBA Season

K. Dot's new single "i" will serve as the backdrop for NBA's promotional ads. Kendrick Lamar released one of the most anticipated records of the year a few weeks back when the powerful “i” impacted our headsets out of nowhere. Capitalizing on K Dot’s popularity and the record’s self-empowering message, the NBA has decided to go ahead and use the song in their 2014-2015 promo ads. The single will serve as the backdrop to the NBA’s promotional videos for the season and is now available for you to watch over at NBA.com (for some reason can't be embedded). The first ad that’s being aired shows flashes of NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, James Harden, LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki and others, while K. Dot can be seen rockin' a baseball cap and mouthing the lyrics to his inspirational record. Look for K. Dot to perform “i” at the NBA/TNT concert on October 30th.

T.I. On Snoop Dogg's Apology To Iggy Azalea: “I Didn’t Make Snoop Do Anything”

T.I. reveals details of the conversation he had with Snoop Dogg following his social media attack of Iggy Azalea. T.I. is becoming known as much for diffusing tense situations as he is for his musical output. Tip has done everything from talk down a jumper, to making peace between Rick Ross and Jeezy over the last couple of years, but his most recent crusade was on behalf of his friend and frequent collaborator, Iggy Azalea. Snoop Dogg launched what seemed to be a random attack on Iggy Azalea on his Instagram last week. When she responded to the tasteless image The Doggfather posted of her, he proceeded to accelerate his social media assault, eventually making threats and misogynistic remarks. Later on, he posted a video apologizing for his behavior, explaining that he and T.I. had worked things out, but so far, that's the only side of the story we've heard. In a new MTV interview, T.I. opened up about what was said in his phone conversation with Snoop. “I stepped in when it became a public topic of discussion,” the Paperwork rapper said of his choice to intervene. “When it stopped being between two people and it was being observed by the world, and it was almost like people were tuning in just to see what was happening next.” T.I. revealed that the conversation was very rational, due to the mutual respect between himself and Snoop. “Me and Snoop have a long-standing personal and professional relationship,” he said. “I have a huge amount of admiration, love and respect for him and for what he’s done for the game — for people like me to be able to do what we do — and when I called him it was a very, very, very cordial, respectful [conversation].” Apparently, Tip's choice to reach out was enough to get Snoop to see the error in his ways. “He immediately said he knew what I was calling about and just assured me [that it was] nothing to even worry about. It’s over with. And we started talking about something else immediately," he said, making it clear that the rapper apologized of his own accord. "I didn’t make Snoop do anything.” Watch the interview below.

New Drake Song "How About Now" Hits The Web

An unofficial Drake release surfaces online. The last we heard a solo cut from Drizzy was back in June when he went from 0 to 100 real quick over an iconic instrumental from Boi-1da, 40, and Nineteen85. Today, YMCMB's golden child returns with "How About Now," a fresh drop uncovered by those computer savvy hip-hop heads over at Reddit. The track is speculated to appear on Drake's upcoming Views From The 6, although it seems just as likely to be a leftover from Nothing Was The Same. Fader reports that a seventeen-year-old SoundCloud user from Marietta, Georgia, posted the track, claiming that it's an "exclusive leak" off Drizzy's new album. How a high schooler in Georgia could get their hands on something this big remains a mystery. Check out the track and let us know what you think. Boi-1da, while unconfirmed, is being reported as the man behind the instrumental. To stream "How About Now," below.

Iggy Azalea Unveils "Reclassified" Tracklist

Iggy Azalea has shared the tracklist for her "New Classic" reissue, "Reclassified". Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and "Black Widow" have been tearing up the charts over the last few months, but her album hasn't matched the success of the standalone singles. The Australian rapper is now repackaging The New Classic with 5 new songs, as well as trimming off 5 of the cuts from the original release. Chances are the new additions will be more in the lane of her crossover successes, while the more traditional Southern rap songs will be done away with -- though we'll just have to wait and see to find out. The new tracks feature guest appearances from Mø, Jennifer Hudson, and Ellie Goulding. Iggy's two smashes, as well as previous singles "Work", "Change Your Life", and "Bounce" will remain. View the revised tracklist below (new additions in bold). Will the repackaged record fair better than its predecessor? 1. “We in This Bitch” 2. “Work” 3. “Change Your Life” 5. “Beg for It” (feat. Mø)" 5. “Black Widow” (feat. Rita Ora) 6. “Trouble” (feat. Jennifer Hudson) 7. “Dont Need Y’all” 8. “Rolex” 9. “Iggy SZN” 10. “Fancy” (feat. Charli XCX) 11. “Heavy Crown” (feat. Ellie Goulding) 12. “Bounce”

Jhené Aiko Refuses To Perform At Def Jam's 30th Anniversary Concert After A Member Of Her Team Was "Assaulted"

Jhené Aiko was slated to perform on Thursday night at Def Jam's 30th anniversary show, but didn't, saying she left because a member of her team was "assaulted." Earlier this year, Def Jam unveiled a STACKED lineup for their 30th anniversary concert, with performances by Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, DMX, Foxy Brown, Jhené Aiko, Onyx, Method Man, Redman, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Warren G, EPMD, and Jeremih scheduled for the event, which took place Thursday Night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, one of those artists (Aiko) never performed, and blamed her no-show on a "worker" who "assaulted" a member of her team. In a comment posted to Instagram (view in the gallery above), Aiko accuses this male worker of telling her and her entourage to "get the fuck out" before he assaulted a "member of [her] management (female)." Citing "disrespect" as "one thing I can't rock with," Aiko apologized to fans for her absence. Way to go, unnamed male worker, you just made thousands of fans miss out on a Jhené Aiko show. Stay tuned for more details as they arise.

Drake Shows Up To Kentucky Wildcats' Big Blue Madness Event; Shoots Air Ball

Drake shoots an air ball and pulls out the lint roller at Friday night's Big Blue Madness event in Kentucky. Drake’s continued support for his favorite basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats, carried into Friday night when he was invited to the team’s annual Midnight Madness event at Rupp Arena. Suiting up with the players, Drizzy was able to show off his basketball skills Friday night and jump in line for some pregame warm ups. The results? Not so good. The OVO crooner aired a three-pointer and didn’t look good doing it either. He did however lighten the mood up when we was introducing the players and coaches and pulled out the infamous lint roller for a good laugh (see below). Check out a few clips from tonight below and peep a few photos in the gallery above (How 'bout that shooting form though?) Do you think Drizzy could take Kanye one on one?

Big Sean Says Eminem Collab will Not Be On album,Confirms Kanye West,Chris Brown & Ariana Grande Features

Big Sean speaks on collaborations off his upcoming album. The internet got excited when Big Sean confirmed that the long-awaited collaboration with Eminem was finally happening. In a recent interview he kept it brief, just saying that a "somethin'" would arrive sooner or later. Now, in another interview with Angie Martinez over at Power 105.1, the G.O.O.D. rapper explains a bit more on his studio session with Eminem, and says that the song will likely not land on his upcoming album. "We just were kicking it for awhile, he was like 'you're killing it, I like your new stuff.' I'm pretty sure I'm not gunna have an Eminem feature on my album. We have something that we working on- I just wanna make sure I say that so people aren't like, 'yes! The Eminem feature is on his album.' But it's something that was being worked on, that's all I'ma say, I dunno what it's for...Yeah they called me up, I was exhausted but I had to come go up in there," Big Sean explained to Angie Martinez. However, when it comes to feature he does have on his album (which he says in this same interview should arrive in time to use as stocking stuffers, aka December), Sean confirms one with his girlfriend Ariana Grande. "She's on a song on my album. It's a real song. It's something fresh. I feel like she hasn't really done anything like...It's kinda more my element," he said of the record. Big Sean also confirmed features from Chris Brown and Kanye West will be on the new album, "the one we got in there is crazy, produced by Key Wane," he said referring to Breezy. "We got 'Ye on there obviously." Watch the new interview below, and look out for his album at the top of the year.

Bobby Shmurda's Mother/Manager Speaks Out

The other day, Shmurda decided to rent about the fact that he's not making enough cash money from all his live shows. The Instagram post has since been deleted, but AllHipHop managed to save the caption. Now Bobby Shmurda's mother, who also acts as his manager, has spoken out and brought clarity to the incident. Talking to Billboard, Leslie Pollard says that Shmurda's claims were simply because he's a newcomer to the industry and the way things work. She says, "It's not that he's not getting paid, it's that he's new to the business. There's a chain of command that he has to go through before he gets his payment. I guess he's thinking all the money should go from the front man to his hands -- it doesn't work like that. Of course they hold onto it so he actually does the show. Then it goes to his business manager, then to the touring accountant, and then to him." She says Shmurda was just being impulsive, and the issue has since been resolved. Pollard has been managing her son for the two months now.

Iggy Azalea takes to Twitter to scold the Australian division of her management company for selling pictures of her to other publications. Iggy Azalea hasn't been having a great week. Starting with footage surfacing of her calling a paparazzo a "fucking cunt," and continuing with a marathon beef, er... meme war with Snoop Dogg. Rick Ross has wasted no time in getting into the Hood Billionaire promo, and really, he doesn't have any time to waste considering it drops on November 24th. After delivering his single with R. Kelly "Keep Doin' That (Rich Bitch)," he follows up today with the official album artwork for Hood Billionaire. Apart from the leaks "Elvis Presley Blvd" and "Keep Doin' That," Rozay recently revealed that we can expect a Jay Z feature on the album, with a record called "Movin' Base." The standard and deluxe edition artwork are basically the same, except for the fact that one is red and one is blue. The artwork shows Rick Ross' chain-heavy neck up close and personal. The artwork was revealed in the video below, as well as intro snippet from the album. Let us know what you think and if you're excited for this project.

Bobby Shmurda Says He's Not Getting Paid From All His Shows

Bobby Shmurda complains that all the work he's putting in isn't getting him paid. Bobby Shmurda may be one of the rappers with the most buzz right now, but he's not making any money off that, or so he said in a now-deleted Instagram post last night. The rapper who blew up off his Shmoney Dance and "Hot Nigga" freestyle, has since signed a major label record deal with Epic and has been doing a slew of shows, including closing out the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Nonetheless, it seems like all of Shmurda's hard work isn't paying off, at least, not in the monetary way he'd like. "Nah idgaf I’m doing all theses show not getting ma money dey got me doing shit every fucking day so its hard to keep up Witt dis shit den I ain’t got nobody to trust ain’t no help in dis bitch I’m ready to go back to da trap be4 jail #RNS dats how I feel foh," the New York-based rapper posted on Instagram, before deleting it (but you know there is no such thing as deletion on the internet). Bobby Shmurda is currently prepping his EP Shmurda She Wrote

Dr. Luke Sued By Kesha For Sexual Assault & Battery

Things are looking bad for one of the mainstream's most prolific producers. Famed hip-hop/pop producer Dr. Luke is being sued by his frequent collaborator Kesha for emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse. Kesha claims Dr. Luke took advantage of her from the moment she signed with him as an eighteen-year-old, saying he would force her to use drugs and alcohol to remove her defenses. In one instance, the singer recalls Luke forcing her to take what he called "sober pills." After having done so, she woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke's bed, sore, sick, and with no memory of how she got there. On top of clear sexual and physical abuse, Kesha also cites Dr. Luke mentally abusing her to the point that she would suffer from the eating disorder bulimia nervosa early last year, which almost killed her. She claims Luke said, among other things, "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me." She entered a rehabilitation center to be treated for the disorder earlier this year, the lawsuit said. The lawsuit also claims there have been examples of physical abuse as well, citing an instance in which Luke violently thrashed his arms at the singer at his home in Malibu. She says to have escaped his anger by running barefoot along the side of the Pacific Coast Highway and hiding in the mountains. Kesha's reps explain that the lawsuit "is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke." The lawsuit would terminate contractual agreements that Kesha still has with her abuser. Dr. Luke, who's listed as a producer on tracks ranging from T.I. & Eminem's "That's All She Wrote" to multiple hit singles from Flo Rida & Juicy J, has sued Kesha right back, stating that the claims are "outrageous and untrue." "We are confident that Dr. Luke will prevail in all matters, and that our client will be awarded substantial damages for this malicious conduct," said Luke's lawyer.

Snoop Dogg Posts Iggy Azalea Meme,Iggy Gets Angry on Twitter

After Snoop Dogg posted a disparaging "no makeup" photo directed at Iggy Azalea on his Instagram, and she responds by taking him to task on Twitter. As we learned over the weekend, Iggy Azalea is not to be trifled with, unless you want to invoke her rage. The Australian rapper, who's never been shy about responding to disses, just lashed out at Snoop Dogg on twitter for posting a disparaging meme about her on Instagram. After seeing the picture (below), Iggy responded with three tweets (since deleted) that you can view in the gallery above or read below. "@SnoopDogg why would you post such a mean pic on insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures every time we are at shows together? my bodyguard stopped the fire truck that saved your friends life in canada when he almost burnt down the hotel. and every time I've ever spoken to you you've always been nice as hell, I'm disappointed you'd be such an ass for no reason."

Ariana Grande Confirms Relationship With Big Sean

The rumors are true: Ariana Grande finally confirms that she's dating Big Sean. Although they've been rumored to be dating for several months now, Ariana Grande and Big Sean had never confirmed their relationship until now. In a new, exclusive interview with The Telegraph, Grande was asked directly if she was dating Sean, and she responded "Yes." The 21-year-old pop star added, "He is one of the most amazing men in the whole world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother. I think the world of him, and he's an amazing person. That's kind of all there is to it." Sean, who is 26, previously collaborated with Grande on the track "Best Mistake."

DJ Quik Calls Chris Brown And Lil Wayne's Alleged Gang Ties "Laughable"

During an interview on Sway In The Morning, DJ Quik speaks on Chris Brown and LIl Wayne's alleged ties to the Bloods, calling them "laughable." DJ Quik was on Sway In The Morning today to talk about his upcoming album The Midnight Life, and during his lengthy interview on the show, the veteran L.A. artist spoke his mind about Lil Wayne and Chris Brown's alleged ties with members of the Piru Bloods. This comes shortly after Brown denied his gang ties, but said he's "cordial" with gang members. Towards the end of the interview, Sway asks Quik about his past in the Bloods, to which he responds that his involvement was out of survival, not choice. Sway then asks if he believes that "people like Lil Wayne and Chris Brown" are involved with gangs for the same reason, and Quik says: “It’s kind of honoring, but it’s laughable too at the same time. They don’t really know what that shit is about. We took that shit way seriously. We were trying to survive through that shit. They got it too easy.” Also calling their use of gang signs and red bandanas a "marketing ploy," Quik made his position clear. Watch the full interview below. Quik's remarks on Weezy and Breezy come around 26:40.

Chief Keef Shares Tracklist For The Largely Self-Produced "Back From The Dead 2" Mixtape

Chief Keef has given us the full tracklist for his upcoming "Back From The Dead 2" mixtape. While dropping loose tracks sporadically throughout the last year, it's been a while since we've been given a new project from Chief Keef, and even longer still, one that felt complete. Back From The Dead 2, the sequel to his breakthrough mixtape, has promise to be a rewarding set of songs from the Chicago rapper. With the Halloween release date fast approaching, Sosa has now delivered the full tracklist from the project. BFTD2 is a whopping 20 songs in length, featuring a few tracks we've heard over the last few weeks. While a few of these pre-releases were produced by Keef himself, the most surpring takeaway from the tracklist that only 4 of the instrumentals come from other beatmakers. These credits include two contributions from "I Don't Like" and "Love Sosa" producer Young Chop, one from Ace Banks, and another from Atlanta big wigs, 808 Mafia.

Suge Knight Shooter Reportedly Identified By Police

Suge Knight's shooter has reportedly been identified through security footage, but police are waiting on witness cooperation to make an arrest. Suge Knight was shot 6 times at a VMA party hosted by Chris Brown in August, and while the Death Row mogul has been able to recover from his wounds, no arrests have been made for the shooting. Early on, it was reported that Suge had refrained from cooperating with the police, giving them no leads on who could have been behind the attack. Thanks to some security footage, TMZ reports that the cops have been able to identify their suspect, but are still not able to make an arrest for the time being. Apparently, investigators don't have enough evidence to take the shooter in, which once again goes back to witnesses' unwillingness to participate in the case. Police are hoping for someone to speak up so they can move in on the suspect. Initial reports indicated that gang ties may have played a role in the shooting, as Knight, The Game (who was at the venue earlier in the night), and most recently Chris Brown have all been speculated to be affiliated with the Bloods.
