Six Kendrick Lamar Songs Make Billboard's Hot 100

A total of six songs off Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly" crack the Billboard 100. Kendrick Lamar's latest album To Pimp a Butterfly has officially debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, giving K-Dot his first #1 album. Many of the album's tracks found their way onto the Billboard Hot 100 songs, as well. For the week of April 4, Kendrick had a total of six TPAB tracks on the 100 chart, including: "King Kunta", "The Blacker the Berry", "Alright", "Wesley's Theory", "These Walls", and "Institutionalized". Though Kendrick got six in the top 100, none of the aforementioned tracks cracked the top 50. Placing at #61, "King Kunta" was the highest performing song of the bunch, followed by "The Blacker the Berry" at #66. "Alright" hit #83, and "Wesley's Theory", "These Walls", and "Institutionalized" placed #91, #94, and #99, respectively. To Pimp a Butterfly's lead single, "i", was released last September, and, though no longer on the charts, still remains the album's highest charting track, peaking at #39. Which is your favorite of the charting TPAB songs? Purchase To Pimp a Butterfly on iTunes, and let us know your favorite tracks.
