Sony Will Not Pull Beyonce's Music From TIDAL

Contrary to rumors, Beyonce's music will stay on TIDAL. Yesterday (May 29), in the midst of rumors of TIDAL's swelling financial woes, reports circulated that Sony was considering pulling all of its music from the streaming service. The loss of all Sony-endorsed business would be crippling, no doubt, but Sony has the rights to one artist whose removal would be particular painful: Beyonce, the better half of TIDAL owner Jay Z. Today, Sony has quickly responded to the rumors, denying them entirely. Sony Music CEO Doug Morris issued a public statement to Rolling Stone, voicing his continued support for Hov and TIDAL: "Jay Z is a friend and business associate for many years. I have always admired his business acumen, his entrepreneurship and his passion for music. All of our content, including Beyoncé, is available through the Tidal service, and we have announced no plans to remove our catalog from Tidal. Like all of our other partners, we are rooting for Jay and Tidal to succeed." Thus, it appears TIDAL users will continue to be first in line for whatever Queen Bey throws at us next. Are y'all with team TIDAL?

Iggy Azalea Cancels Entire "Great Escape" Tour

Iggy Azalea's "Great Escape" tour has been cancelled entirely. Is Iggy Azalea going through some things? The rapper recently pushed back her "Great Escape" tour due to "production delays," shortly after some of her guest artists dropped out. There were rumors at the time that Iggy was being "increasingly unresponsive to her management and refuses to engage in promotion." Since then, Iggy debuted what appeared to be a new face at the Billboard Music Awards, and just yesterday, a petition began circulating to reneg on Iggy's award for Best Rap Song from the BMA's. Things aren't looking up just yet. Today a statement was released to all ticket holders announcing the cancellation of Iggy's entire tour, and promising that another one is in the works. Read the statement below. "The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience." [via SPIN]

R. Kelly Announces New Album "Buffet"

R.Kelly says his new album will now be called "The Buffet". R.Kelly is currently working on the follow up to 2013’s Black Panties album, which is apparently going through a few names changes in the process. Originally expected to be called "White Panties", R.Kelly’s upcoming new album is now being titled the Buffet. In a new interview with HLN’s The Daily Share, Kellz gave some reasoning as for why the title The Buffet, and it’s because he needs to feed everybody in different generations. Kellz states: “It’s all you can hear. I’m 27 years deep in the business, I’ve been blessed to do this music for so long and I’ve got a lot of great songs under my belt, and fans love it. But, I’ve got all different kinds of generations of fans now, and I have to feed everybody. You’ve got Hip-Hop, you’ve got old school music with the Step In The Name of Love type, then you’ve got traditional R. Kelly, sensuous sexual kind of music. It’s just a variety of things, so I call it the Buffet.” No word yet as for when we can expect to hear Kellz' 14th studio album, but rumors are circulating late this Summer. We’ll keep you posted once more info surfaces.

50 Cent's SMS Promotions Company Files For Bankruptcy

50 Cent's boxing company has filed for Chapter 11. 50 Cent is pretty adventurous when it comes to business, it seems he's always investing or promoting some new item every other week. He's done it all, from energy drinks to water to headphones and most recently, underwear and vodka. However one of his business ventures appears to have fallen flat. SMS Promotions, the company 50 formed as a boxing company, has filed for bankruptcy according to TMZ. The company has only been around for three years, forming in 2012. Although the company signed a few big names, including, Yuriorkis Gamboa, James Kirkland and Olympic medalist Andre Dirrel, it wasn't enough to keep it afloat. The company filed for Chapter 11 on May 25th. Court documents show that SMS Promotions has racked up between $100k and $500k in debt. An attorney for SMS Promotions reportedly said, "Under the direction of Mr. Jackson, SMS Promotions looks forward to reorganizing as a new corporate entity and becoming one of the leading promotion companies in the world of professional boxing."

Pusha T Responds to Leaked Track,Calls "King Push" a Masterpiece

[Image via defjam.com] Pusha T posted on the KTT forums today. The last few weeks has seen an irregularly large number of rap leaks, with artists like Drake, Young Thug, and Rich Homie Quan finding (often early demos of) their songs made public without their permission. Recently, a Pusha T snippet titled "All American" made the rounds, and while it was being passed off as a song from the rapper's upcoming sophomore effort, King Push, Pusha has decided to dead the rumors at the source-- the KanyeToThe forums. While Kanye's right-hand-man, Mike Dean, is known to create threads in the popular rap message board, Pusha's address was a pretty rare sighting, using an account that he had from a Q&A on the site a few years back. In a short statement, Push dismissed the snippet as a leftover, clarifying that the record won't be making the final cut of his upcoming "masterpiece". You can read his words-- delivered with a characteristically elegant hubris --below. My precious disciples u have been deceived. This leaked snippet "All American" has nothing to do with the masterpiece "King Push." I'm only delivering "God Level" material to my beloved children. Only organic nourishment for my children, u all shall soon feast. Be patient, I know many of your idols have let u down, I will not! Be Blessed...

Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj aren't Actually Engaged

[Image via daily mail.co.UK] Meek Mill reveals that he's not actually engaged to Nicki Minaj in his new Fader cover story. Ever since Nicki Minajposted a picture of a huge, heart-shaped rock for the whole world to see, rumors of an engagement to Meek Mill have been passed around with little in the way of actual confirmation from either camps. Today, we get a straight-up answer from Meek in his new Fader cover story: they're not actually engaged. Speaking on his relationship with Minaj, the Dreamchaser said, “It’s definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.” The story also includes mention of a run-in with T.I., who seemed a little less convinced that Meek and Minaj aren't getting married: “'I ain’t engaged,' Meek says sheepishly, but T.I. isn’t having any of it. 'You never asked her, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’ But she is your girlfriend,' he says. 'You may not have asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’ But you are engaged.' Meek shrugs, unable to argue with this logic. 'I’ve said my part,' T.I. says, backing away with his hands up. 'As long as you know what’s going on.'” Probably a wise move, as the pair had only been dating a little while before the engagement news popped up, but it's sure to cause some waves in the press.

Birdman Pays the IRS $2 Million in Back Taxes

[Image via djbooth.net] The IRS ordered Birdman to cough up $2 million in unpaid taxes. Forbes' annual list of the five wealthiest artists in hip hop didn't change much in 2015, with Diddy, Dr. Dre, Jay Z, 50 Cent and Birdman all making the cut again. The only noticeable shift was Stunna going from number four to five, and now we've got some news that may partially explain his slight drop in earnings. The Cash Money CEO was recently hit with two separate tax liens from the IRS for unpaid back taxes, totaling around $2 million. TMZ reports that he's already paid up the $1,942,400.58, which was accrued from one lien in December 2014, and another this February. No word yet on what (if anything) this entails for Cash Money, but as Birdman's still worth over a hundred mil, we'd guess that the label's still fairly safe.

ASAP Rocky Is Given Acid By Makonnen, Proceeds To Have Sex With Nine Women

Makonnen supplied Rocky with something potent. After seeing the video, we get the idea ASAP Rocky has experimented with the drug his recent A.L.L.A. single is named after, which a new interview with the New York Post confirms. Rocky says he was recently given LSD by Makonnen (who famously no longer sells molly) at SXSW, and he had quite the trip: "This nigga looked like Buddha with a Jheri curl!" After parting ways with Makonnen, Rocky went back to his mansion, where he proceeded to have sex with nine women. Not all at once, but in groups of three-- three successive orgies throughout the span of his trip. After a night like that, it's no surprise LSD has been a muse for Rocky, but he claims he's not reliant on the drug: "Nah, I don't rely on that shit. Look at me -- I'm cozy. I do smoke weed every day, though." The interview closed with Rocky speaking on his recent entry into the film world which, he hopes, is just the beginning: "I'd like to be in the next 'Oceans' movie...I think it would be 'Oceans 14.' And I also want to play Rick James. That would be some hilarious shit."

On May 17, 2015, hip hop lost one of its ascending stars by the name of Lionel Pickens aka Chinx Drugz, sadly to senseless violence. We have amassed eleven mixtape projects that were either solo projects or works that heavily featured Chinx. Listen To Three New Drake Songs

[caption width="594" align="alignnone"] Image via 107Jamz.com[/caption] Drake leaks continue to hit the Internet. Last Thursday (May 21), a leak of Drake and Beyonce's "Can I" hit the Internet, instantaneously ramping up the hype for Views from the 6, though that was just the beginning. Three more Drizzy leaks have found their way onto the web, two that could potentially be VFT6 material. First, a slow jam collab with Tinashe, one of R&B's hottest acts, titled "On a Wave." There's also "Go Out Tonight," a solo cut produced by Drake's closest collaborator Noah "40" Shebib. Drake has also been in the studio with Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign, and he's featured on a collab between the TGOD members, titled "Tryna Fuck," though the leak provides an edited version ("Tryna Love"). Listen to all three tracks below, and tell us what you think of the new Drizzy. http://emd.sharebeast.com/embed.php?type=slim&file=60fyijxik3eq&enableDownload=true&title=Juicy%20J%20-%20Tryna%20_%20(feat.%20Drake%20&%20Ty%20Dolla%20$ign).mp3&dur=182.4&bg=F9F9F9&border=CCCCCC&color1=00A5DF [Via Fader]

Thanks in part to his majorly successful sophomore album To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar was asked to cover June’s edition of Ebony Magazine in honor of Black Music Month. Recognizing millennial music artists who’ve been breaking down boundaries, making waves and changing the game of popular music, I think it’s a no brainer why Ebony Mag asked K. Dot to fulfill these duties. With a cover story to follow, fans can check out K. Dot’s presence on the cover below, along with some behind the scenes footage of his photo shoot as well. Nicki Minaj Releases "The Night Is Still Young" Video Exclusively On TIDAL

[caption width="730" align="alignnone"] Photo By Jason Merritt/Getty Images for MTV[/caption] Nicki Minaj continues to inch the world toward TIDAL subscription, one thirsty screenshot at a time. Last week (May 18), Nicki Minaj and Beyonce dropped off the visual to "Feeling Myself," which is already being touted as one of the video's of the year. Due to its TIDAL-exclusivity, though, many of us haven't been lucky enough to see Nicki & Bey in all their glory, save for a few highly compelling snippets and screenshots. While we wait for "Feeling Myself" to break away from TIDAL onto less-High Fidelity (free) streaming services, Nicki has come out with another TIDAL-only vid, "The Night Is Still Young," making subscription that much more tantalizing. "The Night Is Still Young" was the last single to be released off The Pinkprint, and the video, with a Meek Mill cameo and some of Nicki's hottest-ever getups, promises to match all the glamour of the poppy club hit. Is Nicki Minaj Jay Z's secret weapon for bringing the world to TIDAL? 'Fess up if Onika has turned you into a subscriber. Those on that TIDAL wave can catch the vid right here.

50 Cent Sues Rick Ross For Allegedly Leaking His Own Baby Mama's Sex Tape

[caption width="551" align="alignnone"] Image via Rollingout.com[/caption] 50 Cent claims that Rick Ross leaked his own baby mama's sex tape out into the world. Back in March, we learned that 50 Cent was being taken to court by Lastonia Leviston (who has a child with Rick Ross) for allegedly leaking out her sex tape. Now, Fif's claiming that Rozay himself was behind the leak, and to deflect the blame, is suing the MMG bawse. TMZ obtained the lawsuit, and in it, 50 claims that Ross (or someone connected to him) was the first to leak the tape, and that he merely posted a link to it. He cites an interview that Ross did with a radio station the day before the video leaked, in which Rozay says something about leaking the tape. 50 demands that if Leviston wins her lawsuit, Ross should pay the bulk of the money owed. Who do you think really leaked the video?

French Montana Decries "Hateful Speech" Surrounding Chinx's Death

French Montana has choice words for those who are tainting Chinx's legacy with negativity. Since Chinx was tragically gunned down in Queens last weekend, most of the rap world has shown their support for the Coke Boy, his family and friends in some way or another. However, not everyone's as respectful and mature. Since Chinx's passing, the internet's also hosted some of most hateful, repugnant comments ever directed at him, as most of you know by now (especially those of you scummy enough to join the fray). In a new Instagram post, French Montana addresses this exact issue. Read his words below. "I hate having to address the negativity during this time of grief. It is irrelevant. I pray that everyone would consider that real people lost a real man, friend, brother, father before spreading hateful speech. His funeral is taken care of My brother is in good hand If you don't have nothing positive to say keep it to your self #ripchinx"

Beanie Sigel Wants To Collaborate With Jay Z Again

Beanie Sigel feels the fans deserve more music from him and Jay Z. There were plenty of talked about moments from Jay Z's Tidal performance last weekend, but the biggest news of all may have been his reunion with Roc-a-fella OG, Beanie Sigel. Anyone who grew up listening to Jay was excited to see the two together on stage again, but it seems Bigel was equally elated about the opportunity. “Life pulls you in different directions. The other day it was like nothing every changed. Everybody was laughing, happy, smilin', jokin'." As far as whether we'll hear some music from the Roc boys, Beanie feels that the fans deserves it. “I don’t want to spoil it, but the public want that," he said. "I think after giving them that for two days, and the reaction from it. It’s undeniable. It's gotta happen." Watch the full interview below.

A$ap Rocky Reveals Tracklist for A.L.L.A.

[Image from thissongslaps.com] Check out who A$AP Rocky tapped for his upcoming album "At.Long.Last.A$AP." A$AP Rocky's upcoming album A.L.L.A is definitely one of the most anticipated releases coming this summer. We received the album art the other week, which pays homage to Rocky's fallen friend A$AP Yams. Today that's followed up with the tracklisting. The album appears to be pretty feature-heavy, but we're sure Rocky will still come out as the star. It looks like the previously-released single "M'$" got a face lift, with the additon of Lil Wayne. Kanye West is featured on "Jukebox Joints" (we'll have to see if that's also the song Ye reportedly produced), while he's got the South represented by Juicy J and UGK on "Wavybone." You'll also see an artist by the name of Joe Fox pops up on several songs. Check out the tracklist for the deluxe edition of the album below. 1. Holy Ghost (Feat. Joe Fox) 2. Canal St. (Feat. Bones) 3. Fine Whine (Feat. M.I.A., Future & Joe Fox) 4. L$D 5. Excuse Me 6. JD 7. Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 8. Electric Body (Feat. Schoolboy Q) 9. Jukebox Joints (Feat. Kanye West & Joe Fox) 10. New Drake and Beyonce Collaboration "Can I" Leaks Online

[Image from drake21.info] A snippet of a new collaboration from Drake and Beyonce has surfaced online. Drake and Beyonce collaborated on Beyonce's self-titled 2013 album, with "Mine." The two have more where that came from, with a slow-moving jam leaking online today. First just a snippet was circulating the web, but now the full record is floating around. "Can I" has Bey and Drizzy going back and forth with each other, over minimal production. The song reportedly also features artist Sal Houdini, who according to his Instagram post, somehow leaked it accidentally. There are different versions floating around, though, one features Sal Houdini singing on the intro, and another which does not. Could it be something recorded for the anticipated Views From The 6ix, or something else altogether? There's also a pretty long outro featuring vocal snippets from Beyonce, perhaps leaving space for an additional verse. What do you think? Check it out over at StereoGum.

Kanye West reportedly has production on Asap Rocky's "A.L.L.A."

[Image from DaveyWilson.com] Hot 97s Deanii Digital shared some info on ASAP Rocky's new album. ASAP Rocky's A.L.L.A. is set to hit stores next month, but we still don't know a whole lot about it. At this point, we're taking any news we can get, and some tweets from HOT 97's Deanii Digital have given us a couple of clues as to what to expect from Rocky's sophomore outing. The biggest takeaway from Deanii's report is that Kanye West has production on one record. Apparently, most of the other songs are provided by Danger Mouse, who's previously worked with DOOM, Gorillaz, The Black Keys, and Beck. It also sounds to be a pretty low-key outing, as Deanii assured there weren't too many "turn up" tracks on the album. In other news, Kanye just tweeted out Rocky's new "LSD" video, a pretty rare honor we've seen extended to Tinashe and Tyler, The Creator most recently. Y'all excited for the album? Check out Deanii's tweets below. Listened to A$AP Rocky's new album today.. — Deanii Digital (@ScottieBeam) May 20, 2015 Overall judging from first listen... It's going to be a pretty big album. Don't expect any "turn up" joints tho. — Deanii Digital (@ScottieBeam) May 20, 2015 Of course the production was fucking flawless. Most of the tracks were produced by Danger Mouse. — Deanii Digital (@ScottieBeam) May 20, 2015 He has a joint on there produced by Kanye West ... Made me miss Kanye produced shit. — Deanii Digital (@ScottieBeam) May 20, 2015

A cop Made Wiz Khalifa put out his joint on the Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet

[Image from theurbandaily.com] Wiz Khalifa was approached by a police officer while smoking weed at the Billboard Awards last weekend. Wiz Khalifa is known to have a joint in-hand at all times, and the Billboard Awards red carpet is no exception. Apparently, Wiz thought it would be totally cool to light up before the event, but was quickly approached by a police officer who forced the rapper to put the weed away. A photographer on the scene recounted the event on Facebook, writing, “Wiz Khalifa smoked weed on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet blazing some AK-47. A police officer told him to keep that shit off his carpet or he’d have to arrest him. It might be legal for medical in Vegas, but the cops don’t have the tolerance they do in LA.” Khalifa instagrammed the interaction the next day, captioning the post; "'Could you put the weed out sir?' Yes of course." Seems Wiz wasn't too bothered by the request, and chances are, he'd already smoked enough to get him through the ceremony, or, more likely, he sneaked out for a couple puffs here and there.

Machine Gun Kelly Speaks on Relationship wiyh Amber Rose

[Image from getnetworth.net] achine Gun Kelly basically confirms that he's dating Amber Rose on Hot 97. Last month, paparazzi caught some pictures of Machine Gun Kelly and Amber Rose hanging out together, which led to inevitable dating rumors, and now MGK's spoken on the matter on Hot 97. Read an excerpt of his interview belwo, and watch the full thing at the bottom of the page. "Everything was completely natural, it wasn't anything that I had expected or planned, or anything like that. You know when the universe throws something your way, things happen. I'm one of those people that goes with it, and I don't fight it, and I had no idea what came with that. I'd be a liar if I didn't say that it's not like a struggle everyday coping with that fact that it is one of the most anti-spotlight people ever, and one of the most in-the-spotlight people ever. Along with the flack that'll come with it from people unknowing of the situation, which I accept and I don't blame anybody for... It's one of those things that make you rethink the whole fame thing again."

50 Cent is dropping "Get Low" featuring Jeremih,2 Chainz & T.I. today

[Image from rappingmanual.com] 50 Cent's "Get Low" feat. Jeremih, 2 Chainz & T.I. is out tomorrow. Last week, 50 Cent gave his fans something to look forward to, announcing that the first Street King Immortal single would be dropping on June 2nd. Now it looks like they won't have to wait nearly as long. In a new Instagram post (below), Fif says the new track will be premiered tomorrow on Power 105.1's Breakfast Club. It's called "Get Low," and just like Lil Jon And The Eastside Boyz's song of the same name, it'll largely be an ATL affair, as it features the city's 2 Chainz and T.I.Jeremih also guests, which is pretty exciting. Take a look at the artwork below,

Did Iggy Azalea Have Work Done On Her Face?

[Image billboard.com] The internet seems to think Iggy Azalea debuted some new plastic surgery at the Billboard Awards. Iggy Azalea is always a hot topic these days, and her appearance at the Billboard Awards was no exception. A photo of the rapper on the red carpet quickly made the rounds on Twitter, with users suggesting that Iggy had altered her face-- most noticeably her nose and chin. Several other pictures proved that it was more than just a weird angle, and the gossip columns have subsequently gone digging, citing sources that Azalea has had a nose augmentation and a chin implant. Azalea was very open about her breast enhancement a couple months back, so we assume if this is true, she'll be up front about it. The rapper Instagrammed a photo of herself from the event, captioning the pic, "Loving my new look," which could be a confirmation that she's had some work done. Or, it's yet another conspiracy theory cooked up by the internet.

Snoop Dogg Asked Nipsey Hussle to Play Him in N.W.A. Biopic

[Image Courtesy hiphopdx.com] Snoop Dogg reveals that he wanted Nipsey Hussle to play him in "Straight Outta Compton". Straight Outta Compton, the long-awaited N.W.A. biopic is on its way, and while the focus is obviously on Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and the gang, Snoop Dogg will also be portrayed in the feature. In an interview with DJ Whoo Kidd, Snoop revealed that he actually had someone in mind for the role. “I would've preferred Nipsey Hussle for the look," said Snoop, revealing that while the actor who plays him did a great job, he doesn't have the same uncanny resemblance as the Crenshaw rapper. "But Nipsey wanted to do his own thing, which I respect.” According to the BUSH funkster, Hussle felt he couldn't escape comparisons if he took the role. "He don’t wanna be in my shadows as far as being so much associated with Snoop Dogg," said the rapper. "And he’s doing a great job of creating his own lane right now, so I respect him for that. I tried to holler at him though…I feel him cause I’m like, I’m the same kind of way. Like ‘I don’t wanna be up under your shadow forever. I wanna be able to say that I’m just as big as you if not bigger than you. https://youtu.be/4DryNILYjpE

Drake & Diddy Reportedly Squash Beef

[Image courtesy Mtv.com] After an altercation last year at Club Liv, Diddy and Drake have allegedly made up. Among all the stealthy disses on Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late, the one on "Used To" aimed at Diddy ("Real quick, man, you couldn't have hated that / Let's be real, nigga, you couldn't have made it that") was the most timely, coming mere weeks after the mogul allegedly slapped him over a Boi-1da beat. It now appears that the two rap titans have settled their differences, as TMZ reports that they hopped on a diplomatic phone call with each other mid-April. Citing the fact that they're "going to cross paths several times" at various events this summer, the gossip site reports that Drizzy and Puff have called a truce. Perhaps, with Money Making Mitch on the way, Diddy was looking for some more Boi-1da beats? Let us know your thoughts below.

Rick Ross facing Lawsuit for Using Unauthorized Jay Z Photo in "Moving Bass" Video

[Image via 360nobs.com] Rick Ross is being sued by hip-hop photographer Armen Djerrahian once again for using an unauthorized photo. It looks like Rick Ross is facing another lawsuit from hip-hop photographer Armen Djerrahian. If you remember last year (in May to be exact), Rozay was sued by Armen for using photographs that he’d taken without his permission, and now apparently the same thing happened in Rozay’s latest music video. TMZ is reporting that Armen Djerrahian is suing Rick Ross for using a photo of Jay Z that he took of him back in 2003 in his latest video for “Movin Bass” featuring Hov. The photo is a rather famous pic of Hov throwing up the Roc-a-fella sign with his hands, but it only appears in the video for literally like half a second. Djerrahian says the shot popped up in Rozay’s new video, which it does, and he wants ALL the profits they made off using the Jay Z image, and a court order to block them from further use. According to Djerrahian's lawsuit, he was never contacted about the photograph's use and was not credited in any way. Thus, the lawsuit. Watch the brief video below and check out the momentary flash of the photo. Do you think that deserves a lawsuit? (We’ll keep updated on this story)

Jay Z & Beyonce Have paid "Tens of Thousands" in Protestors Bail Money

activist dream hampton claims Jay Z & Beyonce have (quietly) donated huge sums to the resistance movements in Ferguson & Baltimore. Filmmaker, writer, and social critic dream hampton (who writes her name in all lowercase) took to social media to defend Jay Z and Beyonce against claims that the couple has remained silent in the midst of protests in Ferguson and Baltimore. Apparently, hampton called Jay and Bey while she was on the front lines in both Ferguson and Baltimore, and, in both incidents, the Carters immediately wired her "tens of thousands" to cover protestors' bail costs. She also said the Carters donated huge sums to the Black Lives Matter foundation and that their other contributions are "too many to list." She followed her tweets in defense of the Carters by saying the state's financial power over protestors is one of the biggest hindrances to resistance movements: "When they fine and arrest people for protesting, more opportunities for exploitation by the state are possible with each encounter."

Bill O'Reilly Thinks Rap Music Is Hurting Christianity

Bill O'Reilly feels the glorification of "depraved behavior" in hip-hop is to blame for the decline of Christianity. Bill O'Reilly has shown a lack of logic throughout his career, most thoroughly in his declaration that you "can't explain" the rising of the tide. Today, he's made yet another unsubstantiated claim, this time targeting one of his favorite scapegoats -- rap music. When discussing the recent decline of Christianity, particularly with youths, O'Reilly suggested that the popularity of hip-hop among the demographic may be to blame. "The rap industry, for example, often glorifies depraved behavior," he said. "That sinks into the minds of some young people - the group that is most likely to reject religion". What Bill refrained to acknowledge was that some of the biggest artists in rap -- namely Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West -- have made a point of incorporating Christianity into their music; something you generally won't find happening in other genres unless the artists actively define themselves as Christian acts. Perhaps Cam'ron could stop by Bill's show again to discuss the matter. [Via HNHH]
