First Week Sales For Tech N9ne's "Special Effects" & Ciara's "Jackie"

Check out the first week sales for both Tech N9ne and Ciara's respective albums. The first week numbers are officially in for Tech N9ne’s Special Effects album and Ciara’s Jackie. So who do you think did better? According to HDD, Tech N9ne’s Special Effects moved an estimated 55,755 (63,245 including streams) in the opening week, which is pretty damn good considering he’s independent. In comparison, his last album, Strangeulation, moved only 36K its opening week, giving Tech N9ne nearly a 20K increase in sales from a year ago. Meanwhile Ciara’s Jackie didn’t do so well. Led by the hit single “I Bet”, Jackie only moved 19,856 (25,086 including streams) in its first week. Her previous release, Ciara, moved an impressive 59K in its opening week, giving Ci-Ci a major drop off in album sales this go around. If you haven’t done so, cop Special Effects & Jackie on iTunes today!
